Frustration, fear and irritation can best describe my experiences with the general medical community for the first 51 years of my life.  I have a chart full of wrong diagnosis, bizarre guessing, unnecessary surgeries, and downright bad medicine. 

I have a healthy diet, healthy activity and great stress management skills.  I used to think my biggest problem was that I could not speak "medical" so I somehow failed despite my continued efforts to communicate effectively with my health care providers.

Understands when standard basic testing doesn't identify a problem, it does not mean the patient is lazy, crazy or a liar.  It may mean different, more detailed testing is needed.
