OFFICE UPDATE
August 18, 2010
Dear Patient,
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of a few changes that have been made in our office regarding testing provided to us through SpectraCell Laboratory.
Our office uses SpectraCell Laboratory to perform important testing like the Comprehensive Nutritional Panel and the Lipoprotein Particle Comprehensive Panel. We have received valuable information on patient health through theses tests. In the past, patients have been given payment options for this testing through an insurance co-pay, or payment in full at the time of service. We understand there may at times have been confusion between your insurance providers and SpectraCell when billing for this testing, ultimately leading to confusion and inconvenience for the patient.
Therefore, Rocky Mountain Health & Wellness has decided to discontinue these services. Because of the important nature of this testing, however, and our patients’ health in mind, we are able to offer the testing through CTL Research. You may be aware that CTL Research is a Clinical Research Center located next door that conducts clinical trials for large drug companies. CTL Research also has full array of high-grade nutritional vitamins and supplements.
Please be advised that if you choose to have these tests done, you will be responsible for payment of the testing. CTL Research will not be able to bill your insurance on your behalf. The results of the tests will be mailed to you directly, and at that time you may call Rocky Mountain Health & Wellness to schedule an appointment to review your results with your provider.
If you have any further questions concerning this matter, please feel free to call our office at (208) 938-5680.
Thank You,
Anna Klingensmith Office Administrator
